So there's a site that has been out for a while, that im just now getting hipped to called Lookbook.nu and its a image hosting site where people share their creative minds through their clothing and how they put things together. I plan on actually using it when i actually feel like putting together my outfits and taking pictures haha but here are some of my favorites (it was sooooo many so i took these at random haha)

With my new idea of the Male-Betsy Johnson thing, these hoodies go perfectly with some skinnies and docs.

But they're BAPE. :( Which means their probably 400 and I don't have that kinda money to spend on an colorful ass hoodie.

But no fear I can simply go to H&M since they have an exact same type of hoodie with colorful colorways but for like 20 good ones. ahhh, Life is sweeeet.

that's sorta the look im coming for in the Summer of 2010 (which is going to be unforgettable.) and that's the crazy unpredictable look. I'll just explain each look.

Look #1: Marc By Marc Jacobs 2010, basically i like the layered tank (even though i hate my arms, i may be apt to do this one day and the plain front khaki shorts are definetely mines!

Look #2: Dsquared 2010, DENIM I have too cut up some denim shorts and distress them because they seem so cool to me. Also the whole boots with shorts thing is really nice as well.

Look #3: Dsquared 2008, LOVE the rolled up pants look with the canvas shoes, and the scarf tied around the neck.

Yes i did cut their heads out purposely lol. what do you guys think???

We have more important things to discuss right now, we could talk about what i bought and crap but what's more important is WHY The store below me is being such a bore when going in!

Yeah YOU, like every time i get on it its like horribly empty, and tacky, probably because quiet as kept the Fall 09 wasn't as booming as it should be! ALSO, you have to go to the store to buy your things because for some odd reason they don't have their Online store available until Fall 2010, which seems soooo far away! But anyway, i'd just thought i'd vent about that and then start to discuss why everyone is so obssesed with these Cheap Ugly Things and these UGLY ASS SHOES (Excuse my french, ha!)

G-shock- Ugly, cheap looking, a waste of time and money,
Flu Games-Obnoxious, old looking, nasty, yuckkyyyyy lol.

You guys know im not really a big Sneaker post kinda guy, but deep down i do kinda have a sneaker addiction. SO basically these are the new Supra Skytops II which are set to release in Mid-January of 2010. Both a navy blue/gold and black colorway make themselves visible, each showcasing the newly re-designed uppers of one of the more popular skate models in sometime, although as of late they’ve become more known for their fashionista sensibilities. These babies are only gonna be 114, which is good for them because their shoes are usually expensive as hell.

Spring 2010

So I know im like way overdue for this but it's still winter so i do have time. I've missed you guys and i've been like procrastinating the hell out of this post.
So basically im just showing you guys some Spring 2010 Trends/looks that caught my eye. This spring is reallly about Neutrals and not matching, but coordination, and mix match pieces. Some things that really caught my eye were the boots, almost everyone is using boots for their spring and usually they use like mocs or loaf's.. But let's get started with the Trend Report.

Now the Calvin Klein one was neutral but what made it different was that he definitely reused the whole Transparency thing from Fall 09 which was a success and something that was kind of eye popping. and so basically one word for it would be SLEEK.

Now the Prada line what really made me use them was that they did a really good job with the layering of the Cardi's and Blazers, and their Proportions were veryyyy daring and precise. the one word for this line is SMART

haha There's always room for Mcqueen. I had to have his because it's dirty,grungy,but in a walk down 5th avenue way! Pay attention to the patchworked sweater in the middle that was very precise.and the hand prints are literally death. The holy cardigan and the dingy boots are what really set this line off, so the one word is GRUNGE.

I was debating b/w putting the Marc Jacobs line up or the Louis line up (because their both his lines) but i decided Louis because its kind of better :0 ha, but anyway once again the proportions are perfect, the oxford shoes and the mini shorts are daring, and the whole rolled up shorts steez is reallly going to be in effectthis Spring, Plus i had to add it because this whole line is basically my style as is all of the lines i picked. So the one word i choose for Louis is ORIGINAL.

D&G simply blew me away with this line, because its simply amazing and it described my style as a daring minimalist to the T. The pants are very nice and the jackets.denim,leather... basically ALLL of the fabrics were VERY nicely picked and put together.. the one word for this line would be ME! ha

Bottega Veneta is probably a line that you're not to familiar with, but they really successfully put all of the colors together which makes spring, really spring haha, no but their whole line was really nice and i wish i could put every single picture here but i got as many as i can that really showcased their line, COLORS COLORS COLORS. Oh and that was the one word haha.

and lastly....

Wow, I guess i was just at lost for words when i saw the Ralph Lauren WHOLE COLLECTION because he really distinctively combined all of his labels into the one collection and gave us some, but didn't over due it. He quenched my minimalist side as well as my daring side,and that's why it is LOOK OF THE SEASON (the one word) Pay attention to the sewing on the first sweater and the way he put everything together, the neutrals with Neon colors is very tricky and he pulled it off in a still classy way. Im not sure of those are his shoes but nonetheless the shoe selection was very commendable. From excuse my french " A Job Well DONE!"

SO there you have it the trend report for Spring 2010. This is most likely what you're going to see in the Spring., but im not encouraging you to go out and buy these things just because they're in, BE ORIGINAL, and Please Please Please, make your style your own style, because it makes you feel a whole lot better when you walk out of the house feeling comfortable because that is your style.

So basically what it is, is a magazine published twice a year that dedicates it to a fashion designer. and they bring in that designer to help curate it (Hence 'A Magazine Curated By...') and personalize it to help get to know them as a designer better. This is their seventh issue and its titled "A Magazine Curated By Kris Van Assche" Who is Kris Van Assche? He is a Fashion Designer who not only has his own womens and means wear line but also holds the high chair of Dior Homme.

and if you don't wanna buy the magazine they actually put one from every year on to their new website "A Blog By.." with extra stuff as well

After a huge year of controversy, apartment hunting and holding her tongue from any interviews (except for 20/20 of course), Rihanna finally broke her silence on Monday (November 23rd), when she dropped her “fourth” studio album, Rated R.

On Rated R, we’ve found that the “good girl” has completely “gone bad.” As far as her image goes, the new album picks up exactly where the last one left off. She’s fully made the transition into a real live “bad girl,” and no one is questioning why.

We got out first taste of Rihanna’s darkness when she debuted her first single, “ Russian Roulette.” The Chuck Harmoney-produced, Ne-Yo-penned track had fans and critics chattering with it’s edged-out concept and lyrics, very much improved vocal, as well as the implied nude shot, complete with barbed wire. The direction was clear and the tone of the album had been set.

R opens up with “Mad House,” and continues into the second single, “Wait Your Turn (the Wait Is Ova),” which Rihanna released her first video for. And as the album continues into what is seemingly the third single, the Young Jeezy-featured “Hard,” you realize: Wait a minute. This isn’t a pop album! It does have it’s throwback GGGB, crossover moments on tracks like “Fire Bomb,” the Will.I.Am-assisted “Photographs,” and the aforementioned “Rude Boy,” but for the most part, Rihanna touches territories never before charted on her three previous albums.

All in all, the material on Rated R was clearly chosen to prove a point: Rihanna went through something, she dealt with it and now she’s come out on top as a stronger woman. She’s kept the production pretty much in house
, riding out hard with the usual suspects, Ne-Yo, Stargate, as well as The Y’s and Justin Timberlake, while still staying loyal to Tricky Stewart and The Dream, who laced her so properly on her last album. But the album shines best with moments from her new friend, songwriter James Fauntleroy.

And even though the songs may not be as epic as the tracks that she offered us on Good Girl Gone Bad, it’s pretty safe to say that Rihanna has stapled herself as someone that can’t be kept in a box. And four albums deep, she doesn’t plan on going anywhere.

If i were an sales associate the store would not be open until i was done. but anyway i have a few pieces from the mens collection to show to you :D exciting right? THIS is why they need to have a online store for the less fortunate small town people. =( well whatever at least we can look right?

Ok Ok Ok, Did Christian Dior have a one of the best Fall 09 looks EVER. All i know is that it was nice! and it was so sluttish which made me love it even more. John Galliano outdone his self again. As Dino-Ray says "With an “underwear as outerwear” aesthetic, the Big G gave us some throwback looks with a bit of nasty girl swagger. Peplum coats and full skirts were splashed with fruit stand colors like raspberry, limes and oranges. The models gave us naughty winks via exposed legs wrapped in stockings and garters as well as purposely exposed slips.In a word, this collection was like 1950’s secretary turned skank; a hybrid of a lady who lunches and lady of the night. It’s the best of both worlds." Well you look for yourself.

So Retr-Ho right? ha so cool! Anywhoo towards the end of the show models came out wearing gorgeous nightgowns.. just take a look for yourself.

Signed by her 20th birthday and writing songs for other artists (such as the Pussycat Dolls, and has been asked to write for a series of Interscope artists) before her debut album was even released, Lady Gaga has earned the right to reach for the sky.

“My goal as an artist is to funnel a pop record to a world in a very interesting way,” says Gaga, who wrote all of her lyrics, all of her melodies, and played most of the synth work on her album, The Fame (Streamline/KonLive/Cherrytree/Interscope). “I almost want to trick people into hanging with something that is really cool with a pop song. It’s almost like the spoonful of sugar and I’m the medicine.”

On The Fame, it’s as if Gaga took two parts dance-pop, one part electro-pop, and one part rock with a splash of disco and burlesque and generously poured it into the figurative martini glasses of the world in an effort to get everyone drunk with her Fame. “The Fame is about how anyone can feel famous,” she explains. “Pop culture is art. It doesn’t make you cool to hate pop culture, so I embraced it and you hear it all over The Fame. But, it’s a sharable fame. I want to invite you all to the party. I want people to feel a part of this lifestyle.”

The CD’s opener and first single, “Just Dance,” gets the dance floor rocking with it’s “fun, L.A., celebratory vibe.” As for the equally catchy, “Boys Boys Boys,” Gaga doesn’t mind wearing her influences on her sleeve. “I wanted to write the female version of Motley Crue’s ‘Girls Girls Girls,’ but with my own twist. I wanted to write a pop song that rockers would like.”

“Beautiful Dirty Rich” sums up her time of self-discovery, living in the Lower East Side and dabbling in drugs and the party scene. “That time, and that song, was just me trying to figure things out,” says Gaga. “Once I grabbed the reigns of my artistry, I fell in love with that more than I did with the party life.” On first listen, “Paparazzi” might come off as a love song to cameras, and in all honestly, Gaga jokes “on one level it IS about wooing the paparazzi and wanting fame. But, it’s not to be taken completely seriously. It’s about everyone’s obsession with that idea. But, it’s also about wanting a guy to love you and the struggle of whether you can have success or love or both.”

Gaga shows her passion for love songs on such softer tracks as the Queen-influenced “Brown Eyes” and the sweet kiss-off break-up song “Nothing I can Say (eh eh).” “‘Brown Eyes’ is the most vulnerable song on the album,” she explains. “‘Eh Eh’ is my simple pop song about finding someone new and breaking up with the old boyfriend.”

For the new tour for this album, fans will be treated to a more polished version of what they saw (and loved) at her critically acclaimed Lollapalooza show in August 2007 and Winter Music Conference performance in March 2008. “This new show is the couture version of my handmade downtown performance of the past few years. It’s more fine-tuned, but some of my favorite elements to my past shows – the disco balls, hot pants, sequin, and stilettos – will still be there. Just more fierce and more of a conceptual show with a vision for pop performance art.”

It’s been a while since a new pop artist has made her way in the music industry the old-fashioned/grass roots way by paying her dues with seedy club gigs and self-promotion. This is one rising pop star who hasn’t been plucked from a model casting call, born into a famous family, won a reality TV singing contest, or emerged from a teen cable TV sitcom. “I did this the way you are supposed to. I played every club in New York City and I bombed in every club and then killed it in every club and I found myself as an artist. I learned how to survive as an artist, get real, and how to fail and then figure out who I was as singer and performer. And, I worked hard.”

Gaga adds with a wink in her eye, “And, now, I’m just trying to change the world one sequin at a time.”

so this week has been hectic and it just started I have alot of school work and ever since i've gotten really serious with this blog its kinda getting hard to juggle the two, i guess i have to find a 'medium' (ha!) so to say. So im sooo happy that my views have gone up tremendously it makes my confidence go up that you guys are actually looking at my posts and im not typing this to be bored. I've been doing some college searching, and so far only a couple of caught my eye. but FIT is the one that has got my eye. but any college is always good. so i think its kind of awkward that people from my school actually know that i have a blog. But idc i don't associate with them anyway. We had a dress down day and people were so happy. I wore a blue shirt with some joggies. I like to be comfortable when im at school. Some people don't. GOSH i wish i brought my camera lol. Just to show you some pure comedy i saw of people wearing some ... stuff. K so lets talk about flannels, i think im going to make a rule about these things,.
FLANNEL RULE: IF YOU ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 35, WEARING A FLANNEL TUCKED IN OR WITHOUT DOUBLE BREASTED POCKETS IS UNNACEPTABLE. THE ONLY EXCEPTION MADE IS IN PLACE OF THE DOUBLE BREASTED POCKETS IS A SEXY PLAID, HOWEVER IF ITS NOT DOUBLE BREASTED, DON'T EMBARASS YOURSELF
.. so i think you get my point :-) plaids are IN. embraace it

Scarves:

these things speak for themselves. i mean there are different ways to do a scarf and this is the way to do it with a cardigan (see above)

down here, is the way to do it with a peacoat because.. its sexy and warm.,

so basically scarves are self- eplanatory and should be an accesory with every fall outfit.for tips on different ways to tie a scarf click here and here and finally here

Jeans:
Skinny jeans are of course my pick, their just a really cool trend that's never going to go away.

if you're the skinnys are for girls kinda guy then low rise bootcut is perfectly fine, just no mom pants lol. (sorry obama had to put that in)

Shoes:

Bootsss. k so i told you guys UGGGGGGGGSSSSS

they go great with jeans tucked in or over, if you have confidence in your masculinity then go ahead, less confident people don't try it! idk im gettin mines. theyre a good investment, no timberlands, polo boots are okay however.

.. and lastly Coats:
toggles are coming back into style, however a peacoat is always encouraged, overall both of them are very warm. if you wear layers like people usually do for winter then it will be great to fight back the harsh weather.

So yeahh, Kanye is releasing this really cool glow in the dark tour book and im definetley going to buy it, uhhh.. here's all the details i got from an source

"Although his latest tour was cancelled, Kanye West's 2008 ‘Glow In The Dark' tour was a huge success. The national tour raked in millions in sales and featured Ye working alongside Rihanna, N.E.R.D. and Lupe Fiasco. Now Ye's preparing to release a new book cataloging his days on the road.

Titled, ‘Kanye West: Glow In The Dark', the book will be 288 pages of photos from the tour. According to the publisher of the book, Rozzoli, the book chronicles his life on tour and includes a CD with previously unreleased instrumentals from the show. Also in the book are sketches of ideas Ye drew up, costume designs and photos of his performance.

All the photos are credited to Nabil Elderkin who directed Kanye's “Paranoid” and “Welcome To Heartbreak” videos."

Ok so i know everyone is like going crazy about the whole Kanye and Taylor drama but look at this way he was wrong, and he needs to apologize, i am a die hard Kanye fan so it's defintiely not like im trying to down him or anything. It's the simple fact that he would do some silly ish like that and expect to get away with it! Not only did he get kicked out the Vma's but he lost numerous fans and was gibed by MANY people on Twitter called an Ignorant Nigger. This shows that racism is still alive. But back to the topic, he released an public apology that was of course a PR recommendation. In my opinion Ye shouldnt've been with that Hennesy (with no coke). Whitney, ilove the city but this is just MADNESS! you are a PR for one of the top designers in the country and you just idkkk. lol. I have to give it to you because i do know where you were going with it but the whole sheer thingy its a mess! and your boobs dont fit into the little thing you coulda pushed it up some more. Ok, the vma's were absolutely amazing. Mediocrity was not an option everyone went above and beyond and thats performance wise and fashion wise. best performance hands down GAGA and best dressed for woman im simply going to say Alicia Keys. She kept it reaallll simple but very hot in what i THINK is a Charlotte Ronson.

Now for best dressed boy im simply going to say Taylor Lautner. Clearly it was about Simplicity but standing out and he did with a very sleek Calvin Klein suit with a black shirt underneath.

Now don't get me wrong some people had great outfits (GAGA,Beyonce,Amber R,etc..) however, these ones stood out the most to me. Next were gonna talk about the tackiest ~~ish~~ I saw lol.
